Riding High’s initials, “RH,” are embroidered in chain stitch using a vintage Handle embroidery machine. The embroidery is carefully worked and filled by hand, resulting in subtle variations in the finish from one piece to another.
The design is based on a vintage sweatshirt from the 1950s, faithfully recreating characteristic details of the era, including the double-V gusset—the V-shaped sweat guards beneath the neckline—and Freedom Sleeves, a construction in which the underarm seam extends from the body into the sleeve. These historically significant details have been carefully reproduced.
Handle Embroidery
This piece features hand-finished embroidery by skilled embroidery craftsman Kenji Takahashi.
Using a now-rare vintage-style Handle embroidery machine, each piece is carefully embroidered by hand, giving the BULLDOG motif its distinctive texture and three-dimensional character.
Regarding size measurements: each item is carefully laid flat and smoothed out to avoid wrinkles before measuring. Since this is a cut-and-sewn garment (such as a T-shirt or sweatshirt), the fabric has some elasticity. Therefore, please note that there may be slight variations in size.
