原型は50sのヴィンテージスウェット。
当時のスウェットの特徴的なディテールである両Vガゼット（衿の下のV型の汗止め）を採用しています。脇下の袖付けの縫製は、50sスウェットで特徴的なディテールで、見頃（胴体部分）の切替えが袖側まで伸びているフリーダムスリーブ。袖口リブも、袖口専用に編みたてたハギの無い筒編みパーツをそのまま使用するなど、背景のあるディテールを再現しています。
　
脇にハギ（布地を縫い合わせた部分 ）のないチューブの生地を編み立てて、そのままボディーとして使用することで廃棄する生地を約15%軽減。サイズ別にそれぞれ調整された編み機で、丁寧に編み立てています。
　

The design is based on a 1950s vintage sweatshirt.
It features the distinctive double V-gussets (the V-shaped inserts below the collar used as sweat catchers) characteristic of sweatshirts from that era.
The underarm construction uses the freedom sleeve, another hallmark of 1950s sweatshirts, where the body panel extends into the sleeve for greater mobility.
The sleeve cuffs are made from specially knitted tubular rib parts—crafted without seams—faithfully reproducing the authentic vintage detailing.

The body fabric is tubular, knitted without side seams, which helps reduce fabric waste by about 15%.

Each size is carefully knitted on a machine calibrated specifically for that size, ensuring precision and a refined, historically inspired finish.

Riding Highのスウェットシャツは、日本有数のニット産地である和歌山県で作られています。1970年代初期に生産され、今では希少となった【アズマ編み機】で編み立てられた生地【アズマ起毛裏毛】を採用。
　
良質の素材に熟練の職人たちによる感性と経験が加わって、「見た目の美しさ」と「柔らかい肌触り」を兼ね備えた、ふっくらとしたもちもち感のあるヴィンテージ特有のスウェットシャツを再現しています。

Riding High sweatshirts are made in Wakayama Prefecture, one of Japan's leading knit production areas.The fabric used is Azuma brushed fleece, knitted on the rare Azuma knitting machine, which was produced in the early 1970s and is now considered a rare find.
　
With high-quality materials and the craftsmanship, sensitivity, and experience of skilled artisans, this sweatshirt combines both "visual beauty" and "a soft, pleasant feel." It recreates the vintage-specific, fluffy and plush texture of sweatshirts from that era.
