Each piece is carefully knitted using machines that are adjusted for each size. The original design is based on a 50s vintage sweatshirt. It features the distinctive detail of the two V-shaped gussets (sweat shields beneath the collar) that were characteristic of sweatshirts from that era. The underarm sleeve construction is a distinctive detail of 50s sweatshirts, featuring a freedom sleeve where the body seam extends all the way to the sleeve. The cuff ribs are also crafted using seamless tubular knitting, specially made for the cuffs, replicating the original details with historical accuracy.

The fabric used is Azuma brushed fleece, knitted on the rare Azuma knitting machine, which was produced in the early 1970s and is now considered a rare find. With high-quality materials and the craftsmanship, sensitivity, and experience of skilled artisans, this sweatshirt combines both "visual beauty" and "a soft, pleasant feel." It recreates the vintage-specific, fluffy and plush texture of sweatshirts from that era.
