The prototype is based on a 1950s vintage sweatshirt.
It faithfully reproduces iconic details characteristic of sweatshirts from that era—such as the double V-gussets (the V-shaped inserts below the collar used as sweat stoppers) and the freedom sleeves, where the body panel extends into the underarm for unrestricted movement. These historically significant design elements have been carefully recreated.
The fabric’s reverse side is unbrushed, making it suitable for wearing across multiple seasons. The garment is dyed after production, resulting in a soft texture and a rich, vintage-like appearance. It’s a timeless, standard piece that transcends trends.
For styling, it can be worn casually over a T-shirt for an everyday look, or more neatly over a button-down shirt as an inner layer under a blazer for an Ivy-inspired style.

The fabric used is Azuma brushed fleece, knitted on the rare Azuma knitting machine, which was produced in the early 1970s and is now considered a rare find. With high-quality materials and the craftsmanship, sensitivity, and experience of skilled artisans, this sweatshirt combines both "visual beauty" and "a soft, pleasant feel." It recreates the vintage-specific, fluffy and plush texture of sweatshirts from that era.
Regarding size measurements: each item is carefully laid flat and smoothed out to avoid wrinkles before measuring. Since this is a cut-and-sewn garment (such as a T-shirt or sweatshirt), the fabric has some elasticity. Therefore, please note that there may be slight variations in size.
